About IONApub Partnership

IONApub is the leased arm of leading Scottish leisure operator, G1 Group PLC. Iona was formed in 2005 and since then has grown from the original twenty pubs to over 200 leased properties the length and breadth of Scotland, IONApub is the country's fastest growing pub group offering a new dynamic approach to the leased pub sector.

IONApub is a privately owned, wholly Scottish business, we have no shareholders who can influence us, nor are we driven by changes in the financial markets, as we are privately owned, decisions can be made quickly and actions can move forward with immediate effect, which in today's market is a huge benefit.

Many of our key advantages are based on utilizing and combining both our tenanted and managed estate, for example we negotiate supplier deals and pricing for our managed business and pass these directly onto our tenanted pubs, this gives Iona pubs access to pricing that cannot be achieved as a sole trader.

We strive to ensure that our pubs are given as much support as they need and this is delivered in the main by our team of Business Development Managers who have a vast range of experience and knowledge within the industry. To aid in this support we ensure that they do not have an unmanageable number of pubs to work with which ensures they can be on hand to help when required.

Underpinning the Business Development Managers are a fantastic team of people, our Investment team, marketing team, Tennent's Training Academy, finance and administration are all on hand to work with you to enhance your business.
