Will the pub be refurbished before I move in?Our lease ensures that the property is of an agreed high standard on hand-over or shortly after hand-over. You will need to ensure that all relevant certificates and Health & Safety procedures are in place before food can be sold. We can also look at the option of installing or upgrading the kitchen if food has previously not been sold on the premises and there is a market to do so. Is there just one standard lease? No, we have a variety of variations which can be applied to each lease depending on circumstances of the ingoing tenant. An absolute must is enthusiasm, and realisation that this will be hard work, some understanding and appreciation of running a business will also help, although not essential. Is there a minimum/maximum age that I can take on a pub?Yes, 18 is the minimum age to take on a pub, however there is no maximum age limit.
