Finnieston’s Taphouse to celebrate anniversary with a street food take over and cider trike

There’s a cider trike, a hog roast and a DJ – let’s hope the sun is out too.

The Taphouse Bar and Kitchen is celebrating its first birthday this weekend in style with a Bank Holiday party to remember.

Formerly Neighbourhood Bar Kitchen, owners Phil and Giovanna McDonald refurbished and rebranded the site last year.

The party kicks off at 4pm with DJ Riccardo Chicarella on the decks. On the drinks front both the Paolozzi Beer Wagon and Rekorderlig Cider Trike will be on site and Jagermeister will be doing the rounds too.

Phil told Glasgow Live: “We’ve had a fantastic first year and have organised a party this Sunday to thank all of our customers, both old and new, for their support over the past year. Taphouse has a great regular crowd and we’re all set for a brilliant day; all we need now is for the sun to be shining.”
