Marketing Support / Design & Print

Getting customers through the doors is part of running a pub, and we have to look at all different offerings to entice new customers through the doors and retain our existing customers. Advertising materials and promotional literature can be not only expensive to produce but getting the message wrong can cost you dearly. We provide help and support in the following ways to ensure that you receive professional expert help, advice and designs for your marketing literature:

• Business Development Manager – provides advice, strategy and implementation of marketing campaigns, functions, events and follow through including bespoke designs for individual units (there is no charge for this service)
• In House design team – An excellent professional team of graphic designers and in house print team to allow you to produce professional materials at a print cost price only. We do not charge for designs.
• In House Print Facilities – Provides you with cost effective access to print small quantities of materials per outlet, similarly larger runs for delivery drops etc also.

Finance Support

Producing a Business Plan and Profit & Loss forecast is essential to any business to succeed. Understanding what you need to spend money on and how much you are making is imperative. This can be simpler than you think! We provide you with all of the necessary tools to produce and follow a Business Plan and P&L along with understanding all other areas of finance including VAT, GP’s. We suggest that you use an accountant or Book keeper to undertake your end of year accounts and tax returns.

Training

Off site training courses are subsidised for all Iona Tenants making it affordable for Tenants to ensure that they have all of the necessary training and certificates in place. We also provide a range of On Site training provisions which you can use repeatedly with your staff at no cost.

Health & Safety

Alongside the mandatory training courses to undertake, Iona also provide you with a toolkit for you to use on site which includes Risk Assessments, Audits and many other templates for you to access and log on site.

Building & Maintenance Support

With an in house investment team we can also offer the following services:

• Painters & Decorators
• Electricians
• Plumbers
• Carpenters
• Interior Design

All of our support services are offered to you at cost price and is a much lower rate than external contractors. If you are looking to refurbish your pub, or simply provide a fresh lick of paint, we will gladly provide you with a quotation for you to compare with other external suppliers.

Menu Planning & Design

Food can be an important offer for any pub and understanding your customer’s needs, setting pricing and knowing your own profit margins can be a daunting prospect. Iona will support you with expert advice and suggestions to aid in the production and implementation of your menu for your pub.
